Log splitters are used to take the hard work out of splitting logs and large blocks of wood. The Dormak RL8 HRZ is an example of an electric log splitter (230v) which is available in a horizontal position. Driven by a powerful 1800w motor, the splitter breaks down the logs into more manageable blocks using an 8 ton thrust.
The maximum pressure is 230 bar and maximum length is 520mm. There are 2 wheels at the back of the splitter which are 230mm in diameter and manufactured from plastic. The total weight of the splitter is 80kg.
